Day 2: My Large Family

Day 2: My Large Family

With 8 siblings, 6 of their spouses, 3 siblings on my husbands side, 1 brother-in-law on that side, and 25 nieces and nephews, 4 spouses of said nieces and nephews, and 2 great nieces my family is a little large. AND I LOVE IT!!!! It is crazy to imagine our family without each and everyone of them. How is that possible?!?! Each person brings something different to our family dynamic and I love who we are as a group! It is overwhelming at times and it is often extremely loud when we are together, but it seems to work for us.

I am specifically extremely thankful that my siblings are some of my best friends...and their spouses too.  Some of my brother-in-laws have been around since I was 2 and 3!  They all know me in a way no one else does and they are my biggest supporters, fans, and the ones that will make fun of every stupid thing I do! Each of my sisters have impacted my life in such different ways. It's so cool to always feel like there is someone that will understand or relate to something I'm feeling or experiencing.

And it's cool to have nieces having babies the same time I am...I have one niece who is due 3 weeks after I am and it's been so cool to be pregnant at the same time and that we're both having little boys.

I feel it is a huge blessing that I get to be part of my family!
