Pintrest strikes again

I'd like to take this opportunity to bear my testimony that pintrest can be a blessing in your life! Some might say it sucks up too much time, but I believe that it has brought much good into my life, saved me some money in my pockets, helped the ones I love eat yummier things, and made me a happier person! 

New baby's room is going to be our front office that hasn't been an office, but our crap room.  But since it is an office, there is no closet and I needed something that could house all his cut little outfits. Enter pintrest and this idea of turning an old entertainment center into a closet. I looked on craigslist and found this beauty for $30!!! And it's real wood!!!!! I have one last coat to put on it before I can bring it into the house and then I'll post a picture of the end result. But I am loving it!!!! Thank you pintrest!

And while mommy crafts, my children make acorn muffins. My kids are obsessed with gathering acorns.

And on a very random none related topic, my baby has decided she is going to potty train herself. While I love that she wants to go potty on the toilet, I do not love the fact that she doesn't really talk and I never know exactly what her grunts mean and the amount of attention it is requiring to help her make it on time to the toilet is beyond exhausting. And her little bumm is so tiny there aren't a pair of panties in the world that will fit her. And while she is totally ok to run around naked at our house I refuse to let her go commando in public and she is beginning to hate diapers and wants to take them off when we're in public. In 2 days she'll be 18 months old and I do want her to be potty trained, but I wouldn't have minded if she would have waited till January to figure this out. Mommyhood rocks!!!!
