Wedding Cake

Last weekend was my niece's wedding (Brittany, my sister Christine's 2nd daughter). The kids and I got to go down a few days early and hanging out with the family before the wedding. The night before the wedding, my sister made her daughter's wedding cake and all the girls got together to work on it with her. Basically we sat around and talked to her while she did most of the work. We did knead a lot of fondant and I got to cut out 300 flowers and push rhinestone's into them...but other than that, Christine did most of the work.
This is us the night before the wedding working on the fondant. Making cakes is not as easy as it might appear!
This is the assembling of the cake before the reception. Seriously impressive what Christine can do!
The finished product. So impressive!

And like everything Christine makes, it tasted even better than it looked. Each layer was a different flavor and it was delicious! The bride and groom enjoyed their bite!
