Always attempting

Almost every Sunday I want to take a family picture. Bryan loves this little habit I'm forming. It probably has something to do with the fact that on Sunday I feel pretty. Even though i shower every day...I don't make myself get ready...make up, cute outfit, hair done. 5 out of 7 days of the week I am home all day with my kids. And I just don't care to waste my free time on how I look. I'd rather blog or do something crafty or make something yummy to eat...or clean if I must. But on Sunday I feel pretty and my kids are pretty and I always want a picture!

This is probably the picture I should frame and put up. I love how Benjamin is driving his car on Bryan's face...and Bryan is just smiling for the camera. We have learned, as the parents, we always smile, and hopefully whomever is taking the picture takes it when the kid is smiling...or when they're doing something cute.

My kids are just about as excited at this event as much as my husband is. But I don't care. I will continue to do this until I have an amazing picture I can blowup and put on my wall.

Benjamin doesn't love Sunday's in the first place. We're still struggling with nursery. It is so sad...he loves little kids but I think he's had enough bad experiences with nursery that regardless of there being other kids, he hates it. And we let him scream it out every Sunday. After about 20 minutes, the tired nursery leader brings him to us when he is still screaming and turning red in the face cause he's been going so long. He'll love it eventually, right???

Little Jamie Christine is delightful. She doesn't need any snacks or toys at church. She sleeps for at least an hour...sometimes closer to two...while we're at church. She is always dressed head to toe...verses being at home and just having a onesie on. And all day long she hears how beautiful she is. Sundays are fun for her!

I am the mother of 2...that still seems crazy to me. They are my life...and I love it...and I wouldn't have it any other way!
P.S. I don't know why that paragraph about Jamie is in larger font than everything else. I've tried like hundred times to change it and it won't change. Weird.

  2. Oh my gosh, I love the photo with Benjamin driving the car on Bryan! That is priceless! Hopefully he'll get used to nursery soon... We've started taking Landon in there. I have a feeling I'll be in the same boat as you!
