This past Saturday we went to day out with Thomas the train.  A giant Thomas the train engine pulls about 6 passenger cars and then there is a whole carnival like area of Thomas and train related things going on.  I was very hesitant to go...Benjamin is known to freak out when we leave anything train related and I wasn't sure the price and effort and enjoyment level of the activity would justify a freak out at the end.  But Bryan really wanted to have this memory with Benjamin.  So with that, we decided to go.  My sisters, Elizabeth and Maggie, decided they wanted to enjoy the fun with us.  And I am amazed with how much fun it was and how well Benjamin acted, the whole time!! To say there were a few other children having freak outs is an understatement. Benjamin loved just about everything and it seriously was just an awesome family outing!

Ironically, this little train ride was more fun for Benjamin then the big Thomas train ride.

They had about 8 model train set up on this one table, on 8 different tracks, and it was totally impressive to watch them all move around.
