Projects

We have had a few projects going on lately. Our house was in near perfect condition when we moved in and there wasn't anything we had to do right away. It's been so nice to have the past year to think about what I want to do in certain areas of our house. My list included...
1. Paint Jamie's room (it was a beautiful lime green!)
2. Do some kind of painting/mural/wall paper/ something on one of Jamie's wall
3. Find a comfy chair for the living room
4. Paint my bathroom
5. Change out the vinyl decals on my bathtub
6. Paint my bedroom
7. Get new bedding for master bedroom
8. Find night stands for master bedroom
9. Create a temple wall in entry way
10. Hang wedding pictures in master bedroom

I am happy to report that everything, except for number 10 has been finished this past week! It feels so good to have that list accomplished. And I think we are hanging our pictures this weekend.

I have pictures on facebook, so if you're interested go check them out there.

I also went to my sister Cathy's house for a week, the first week of March. She lives in Idaho and I hadn't been back there since I was first pregnant with Benjamin. It was a much needed week of spending time with someone who gets me 100%! It's like we share a brain. We spent a week eating, laughing, doing crafty things, and totally just enjoying every second with each other. We haven't had any time like this since I was in college. We usually only see each other during family reunions, which is awesome. But there is something special about spending time with someone just one on one. I get a lot of one on one time with most of my other sisters. And it was nice to get some time like that with her. It also made me so excited for my sisters' cruise in September. Each of my sisters are so different, yet they each make me laugh and I love being with them. Growing up I never realized that these girls, these sisters, these women would be my best friends, my biggest fans, my heros! They are just awesome people!!

Benjamin is talking more and more every day. I love hearing him say things we're saying. Jamie will be one in a month...WOW!!! She says yes and no (shakes her head yes and no) and I am amazed when 9 times out of 10, she is accurate when she says yes or no. That little girls knows what she wants and what she doesn't and is capable of letting you know too. She's started doing actions for ittsy-bittsy spider and popcorn popping on the apricot tree! She doesn't want to walk, and I thank her for that. Walking is the start of not being a baby anymore and I'm not ready for her to be that big yet. She is still very little and petit. All of her friends out-weigh her, but she's the oldest of her group of friends by 4-6 months.

Life is pretty awesome. I am so thankful to stay at home with my kids. They keep me busy and bring so much purpose, love, and tender moments into my life!
